Well UPMC has entered the scummy zone.  They are closing a hospital in Braddock even though there are more beds filled there then several other hospitals.  They are doing this because the people in Braddock are poor and most of them have some voices.
The Liberals and the Unions have been trying to stop them but yesterday they stopped accepting patients.
Its such a shame that this NON PROFIT is putting Profits in front of people.
UPMC gets my vote for being heartless.

UPMC is an albatross across the necks of Pittsburghers.  They are anything BUT non-profit and that status should be removed from them...just as their logo should be removed from our skyline.

I am so over UPMC and if I have to have any hospital-related tests....I go to Jefferson Hospital just to stay out of the greedy hands of UPMC.

And yes, what they have done to the citizens of Braddock is a disgrace.

(Sorry, all, if you aren't understanding this...it's a local thing.)
