To my friends here/elsewhere or who may come seeing my note or my moniker on posts...

As we do our cherished work on democracy we are sometimes spirited in our allegiances to various sites and friendships. I want to take a moment to clear up any assumptions and dissuade forum wars.

If you felt that I asked you to leave any site (here or elsewhere), please know that that is clearly NOT what I asked you to do. I have zero interest in creating nor perpetuating forum wars with any site regardless of anyone's history here or elsewhere. We have all enjoyed blogging together in various places at various times and developed good deep friendships from simply caring for each others' concerns. Friendships, I cherish greatly.

Above all, we strive to put our country first, progress democracy and create a better world for the next generation. We have to remember this at all times.

Liberty extends to freedom to blog wherever you feel welcomed and respected for who you are and what you offer in your viewpoint. Do continue to blog in your favorite places and I will not interpret that in any way negatively towards our friendship.

PLEASE continue the good cause of working for democracy, and for the good of our country and for making it a better world. Thank you.

Time for peace.  Enjoy the holidays. :)

S.

I agree I am not into forum wars.  I prefer to stay out of it.  I have war in the middle east and war in my own neighborhood.  I prefer to blog in peace.  I wish everyone happy holidays.  I have to work lol so I will be getting time and a half wink

I didn't even know there was a forum war. I guess ignorance is bliss.

No Jen, there is no forum war. That's exactly the point.  Thanks for the opportunity to clarify.

Sanders, thanks for your comments. For the record, I never interpreted your invitation to join another forum as
a request that we leave HW. In fact, as I recall when you issued the open invitation to all of us at HW to join RTN, you stated as much. it was just another site to add to our list.

I don't know what has happened, or what has been said, but I totally agree that there is not time for rivalry or forum wars. There are many worthwhile blogs and forums dedicated to the principles and policies Hillary championed during her campaign. Lord knows, I so hope we will have the opportunity to join together and fight like hell again to get her elected. For the present, I think it's so important that we continue to talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly of the 2008 primary season. A revolution of sorts was sparked when the Dem party stole the nomination from Hillary. We all understood the implications. We knew that women had been thrown under the bus by the party that claimed to stand for women's rights. We recognized that the media had abdicated the role as protectors of democracy for that of Obama groupies. We understood how serious this abuse of power was. We were on the same page - the PUMA groups, the hillary forums, the various pro-hillary blogs.

As far as I'm concerned, our fight to right the wrongs of 2008 and to hold the party accountable ABSOLUTELY must continue. I appreciate you fellow fighters who have stayed true to the cause. Not to be overly dramatic, but this is too important a fight to allow personal issues to diminish our resolve. I agree with Sanders. Groups and forums will come and go - as we have seen. But, the fight continues, and those of us who have remained serious about the fight, and our goals have repeatedly found each other, and kept right on keeping on.

Thanks.

HW has always been hospitable to me and I greatly appreciate that. Apart from heavy work days of various kinds I have come around visited here often albeit regret not posting here much for a while there.

Again, I am glad to be here with Hillary supporters.
