This morning, the ACORN scandal was raised to Charlie Gibson in an interview on WLS AM Chicago’s “Don Wade & Roma Morning Show.” Listen to the audio here:

Don: Ok here’s my question, Senate bill yesterday passes cutting off funds to this group called ACORN. Now we got the…we got that bill passing, we got the embarrassing video of ACORN staff giving tax advice on how to set up a brothel with 13 year old hookers. It has everything you could want corruption and sleazy action at tax funded organizations that’s got government ties. But nobody’s covering that story why?

Charlie Gibson: (laugh) I don’t even know about it. Uh, so you got me at a loss, I don’t know. Uh, uh, but, but My goodness if it’s got everything including sleaziness in it we should talk about it this morning.

Roma: This is the American way…

Charlie Gibson: Well maybe, maybe that’s one you just leave to the cables.

Roma: Well I think that this is a huge issue because there’s so much funding that goes into this organization and it’s a multi…

Charlie Gibson: Well, I know we’ve done some stories about ACORN before but uh, uh this one I don’t know about.

I believe he is lying through his teeth! He looked and sounded like a complete idiot. The one who thought he was so much smarter thant Palin and looked down his nose at her. These two who were talking with him were set back somewhat as well.

I curious to know what the listeners think of this world news commentator. The state-controlled media is exposing themselves for what they are--repeaters.

Agree.

Gibson came off as a complete moron.   At first, he chuckled, as if it was a laughable question.  Then, stated he didn't know about it . . ., of course, he knows . . . all of these so called media groups are watching Fox.  Fox is bringing in the ratings and they would be idiots not to be noticing . . . but, then again, they may think that they are so above and beyond everyone else that it does not matter . . .

I am beginning to think that one of the ways out of this mess is to start really calling out the media. Fox is already doing it some, but the Internet blogs, forums, etc. need to start concentrating on the lack of coverage of important issues by the so-called main stream media.  We need to keep count of Acorn mentions, do a comparison of the lead stories each night, etc. and do a side-by-side comparison.  They need to be called out for what they are doing, or in this case, not doing!

There has not been one story on Acorn in our local newspapers . . . not one!  This has got to change!

Good old dense Charlie Gibson. But I don't believe him, I think his ignorance on ACORN is willful. Ironic that he looks like the clueless ass he tried to portray Sarah Palin as in that interview last year, the same interview that is supposedly the reason behind his retirement.

What gets me is that, if the MSM actually told the truth behind ACORN and other stories, like the ineligibility issue, their viewership would go through the ROOF!  Just shows you which side their bread is buttered on...
